THE CRACKLING SUNSPOT 1302!


The new 1302 sunspot is crackling! Yesterday morning triggered a X2-class flare, the second X-flare in two days, quickly followed by another M7-class flare. So far, no explosions were directed toward Earth, but this may change in the days to come as soon as the sunspot will rotate toward our planet.



The sunspot is growing and there is no sign that it will soon calm down.

Meanwhile, yesterday there was the record for this solar cycle on the 10.7cm solar flux, measured with a value of 190!
